ABOUT ME

My name is Prabha Kamath. Presently I am living in Pune along with my husband.
This blog site has come about from my culinary experience of trying out various recipes of the states where me and my family lived.
My husband was working for different private organisations and had professional postings in different states. Myself and our children also had the opportunity to live with him. Out of a desire to try and savour the local culinary preparations, I dabbled into virtually every local dish, though risky for a newcomer, but succeeded in refining and achieving its local flavour, quality and authenticity in a short time. When the whole family started enjoying them, it has become a norm to have these local preparations as often as we can. This has helped to sharpen my skills in these preparations.
There are many sites on various cuisines.  I thought one more site, detailing my hands-on experiences, which can be accessed by my friends and other viewers, through different links cannot be a burden to the internet. Out of this desire has risen this site, where I could pen down the details of various cuisines of different states for the benefit of my friends and other viewers, who desire to have a take on them.
